Turn a rainstorm into a bright sunny day with Rain Go Away ABCs

New York, NY – Rainy days are no fun – for parents or kids. Appbrella answers the question of “What are we going to do today?” with the launch of Rain Go Away ABCs, a fun new learning and discovery app for iPhone and iPad.

Just in time for the fall season, Rain Go Away ABCs is an enchanting interactive app filled with hand-painted art, jiggle and tilt animations, and indoor activities for parents and children to do together. This app is perfect for any day of the week – and a lifesaver on long, rainy afternoons.

“Parents seek a balance between technology and the offline world when entertaining and educating their kids,” said Appbrella founder, Andy Volanakis. “Rain Go Away ABCs blends the magic of iPhone and iPad with traditional offline play to create a wonderfully engaging learning experience for children.”

Each page of Rain Go Away ABCs includes interactive animations with sound effects for toddlers and preschoolers to discover. Jiggle or tilt the screen to take an X-ray of a wonderful little fish, make it rain meatballs into a bowl of spaghetti, help a mail-carrying mouse parachute to safety, watch a retro breakdancer find his groove, and many more.

Children learn letter names, phonetic letter sounds, and word pronunciation/spelling, while parents discover indoor crafts and activities that reinforce what their child has learned. For example, X is for X-Ray. The corresponding tip is: “Open a vet’s office for your stuffed animals with bandages, ice packs and a flashlight to take x-rays.”
