The Future of Mobile Computation: Calculator Meets Spreadsheet
Portland, Oregon – Infinity Softworks, Inc. announced today the release of powerOne(R) version 2.0 for iPhone(R), iPad(TM) and iPod(R) touch. powerOne combines an algebraic and RPN calculator with simple, customizable, spreadsheet-like templates, giving you hundreds to choose from. Create your own, keep a history and share with others.
New features included in version 2.0 include: an online library of hundreds of add-on templates in a broad range of categories, the ability to label and save computations to a history file, and the ability to share template files with computations in them with other users via email.
“Hardly a day goes by I don’t use powerOne at least once,” said Arvid Martin a Realtor from Imlay City, Michigan. “Not sure how I could do my job without it!”
While powerOne comes pre-installed with 25 templates, choose from hundreds of add-on templates from the Library covering topics from business, finance, conversion, math, science, construction and health. In addition, powerOne includes a language that makes it easy to write templates. Today customers are writing templates including specialized financial computations, tricky conversions, winery fermentation calculations and pipe fitting arithmetic.
“The question every product should ask is how do I work for you?” said Elia Freedman, CEO of Infinity Softworks. “powerOne, with its easy-to-master spreadsheet-like approach and ability to expand, quickly becomes your best friend for always with you computations.”
Templates and their results can be shared and computations are automatically saved to a history for review and further calculation. Finally, for those one-off calculations, powerOne includes an elegant algebraic and RPN calculator. Perform calculations in either decimal, fraction or feet-inch format with functions that include powers, logs, trig and more.
powerOne Financial Calculator has been consistently in the top 10 Apps in the iPad Finance category in the Apple App Store since the launch of the iPad in April. It has been an Apple Staff Pick, and powerOne and it’s corresponding Lite Edition have been downloaded to over 200,000 devices.
