The idea of the e-book never convinced anyone and it certainly wasn’t appreciate by the user, that has a gray screens and an horrible design. But in the last 6 months, there’s an inkling about an oncoming revolution in this field. The giants in technological innovation (Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Apple) are now sharpening their knives. But, while waiting for huge announcements about those new communication systems, it has launched a new structure that is moving towards a new editorial revolution. Its first product (free on the AppStore for celebrate the launch of the this new era) has been created ex-novo for iPhone and iPod Touch; “A separate world” is a comic that, altough it was creates as a pilot project, finds a great success of critic. And from the positive experience of the enhanced comic, Enhanced Press (R) comes to life. Under the Enhanced Press (R) label original or existing products will be totally revisited and modified with the addition of technological, audio and video improvement, combined with interactive elements. Everything in a well-balanced mix.

Every single product will have its own personality, and all will be developed for the best visualization on iPhone and iPod Touch. Enhanced Press (R) products are unique inside the entire editorial landscape, because they’re not simple conversions of already printed assets. The adaptation of a simple text with a banal reader is not in our plans, because it would be like making mute movies in black and white when nowadays we can create environmental surround audio, images in 3D, refined shots with super-modern cameras or cinematic special effects in post-production.

A Separate World is already an “iPhone Native” product, but the upcoming works will refine this method. In fact, many other products made with the Enhanced Press (R) technology are coming and we will give you soon new updates about those.

The major investment, that has required giant efforts, having stipulated an exclusive agreement with Lancio s.r.l., the main company in the field of photonovels, has been to create a series of full-blown “iFiction”, moving to the iPhone format the best photonovels created in the last fifty years. As well as wonderful love stories, we can admire several TV stars when they was novices, like Ilary Blasi, Sebastiano Somma, Roberto Fernese, Caterina Balivo and others persons of the present days.

From December 21 2009 a new application for women and men is finally on the AppStore, in the lifestyle category. With the first issue on iPhone, Visual will publish for free “A love gift”, a little present for our women, so the users can finally proving that on the App Store there are not only farts simulators or bad digestions. The application is half an hour long, the useful time to develop the story and excite the reader. In this way, the waiting at the bus stop, the journey for the office, the appointment with the dentist or the lunch break will flow more quickly. Every new issue will be out every fifteen day. In this first episode Eva, a clerk in a supermarket, realizes her life’s dream. She has won a contest that allows her to play on a stage with her favourite actors. But while everyone seems to like her, Eva has a lot of troubles with the female star, who has it in for her. Envy and love are the feelings that interweave in the story, giving a surprising turn of events. Before the end of the year another amazing story will be out, of which we can see the trailer at the end of the story.
